Founded in 1882, Del Mar is a quaint seaside village, located 20 miles north of San Diego. It is the smallest incorporated city in San Diego county, only spanning 2.1 square miles. ‘Del Mar’ is Spanish for ‘of the sea’ or ‘by the sea’ and the city is considered to have one of the most desirable climates in the U.S. The average temperature is 65 degrees with temperatures rarely exceeding 85 or dropping below 41. Both affluent and historic, Del Mar boasts European charm, natural beauty, and a small town feel making it a wonderful place to call home!
